Timing matters here
Many seniors are sharpest at a certain time of day. Tell me when that is, and I'll plan around it. The signer has to understand what they're signing, so I'll talk with them briefly before we start.
What to have ready

Common questions
Can a family member sign for the resident?
That's a legal question for the attorney who prepared the document. I can't decide it for you.
What about memory care?
I can visit, but the signer has to understand the document at the time we meet. If they can't, I can't notarize.
Is there a facility fee?
Yes, a small facility fee on top of travel. It's listed on the Fees page.
Do I need to tell the staff?
It helps. Some communities need a heads-up or a sign-in at the front desk.
