What can delay or stop a signing

I cannot complete the signing if:

• The signer cannot communicate or does not appear to understand the document
• The signer feels pressured by another person at the appointment
• The ID is expired or does not match the document
• Required witnesses are not there
• The document is missing notarial wording

How I make it easier

• Confirm witness needs before we meet
• Keep a human pace so the signer can read and ask their attorney questions
• Offer print and scan-back if the document must go to an agency by email
